The Dream
The Lord your God in your midst, The Mighty One, will save; He will rejoice over you with gladness, He will quiet you with His love, He will rejoice over you with singing.
Zephaniah 3:17
As little girls we all have dreams
Of being a princess or even a queen
Of a knight in shining armor or a prince from a faraway land,
Who rescues you from danger then gently kisses your hand.
As that little girl grows older, those dreams may seem to die,
For the world tries to steal your dream and you unknowingly comply
Yet there's a KING who calls you chosen, you are beautiful in His eyes,
And He keeps that dream of being royalty somewhere in your heart, alive
It all seems like a fairytale - something too good to be true
But there is One who thinks you're priceless, your fragile heart He will pursue
He wants you to know this is not a dream
He is your RESCUER, REDEEMER, your SAVIOR, your KING!
He's waiting patiently, beloved, to captivate your soul.
Run into His open arms and HE will make you whole.
Prayer:
Father, you are my King. Thank you for loving me just as I am. Help me to comprehend my worth in your eyes. Teach me to love others with that same unconditional love. In Jesus name.
