So, fall is here, one of my most favorite times of year. Of course, I have NEVER lived in a place for longer than 6 months that had any kind of season, until now. I am working today and out of their back windows of their house is just beautiful. There are trees everywhere dressed in all sorts of colors. Orange, red, light brown, yellow, green, purples the list goes on and on! Most people who live here, INHO, seriously take this beauty for granted. Where I come from fall is, well, nonexistant. We had summer then winter, but winters were very mild. I love this. It's 60ish outside and we wore jackets to play in the backyard! I just am in love with it!
Another thing that I LURVE to do in the fall is simple crafts with the kids. This week, we have made ghosts out of paper towel holders, trees with fall leaves, pumpkins, and today we made a ghost and pumpkin wreath out of hand and feet prints. SO CUTE!
I was searching one day for any blogger who had some great crafting Ideas and ran across this. The lady is truly amazing. We've done lots of her crafts and the best thing about it is, she's got pictures of her kids actually doing the projects. I need pictures to see what I'm going to do, I'm just like that! I love the fall colors in N.C. too. I am always telling my kids,"Oooo isn't that tree so pretty with all of it's colors."
